Museum Book Club - Remarkable Creatures

Virtual Museum Book Club

The new book club for adults focuses on themes relevant to the Kenosha Public Museum: Art, Science, Natural History, and American Indians. It meets twice a month. During the first meeting of each month, participants will discuss the first half of the book. The second meeting includes a discussion of the book as a whole, as well as a talk with a special guest.

Book for March 14 & 28: Remarkable Creatures by Tracy Chevalier

Remarkable Creatures is the story of Mary Anning, who has a talent for finding fossils and whose discovery of ancient marine reptiles such as that ichthyosaur shakes the scientific community and leads to new ways of thinking about the creation of the world.

Online registration for this program closes at 5:00pm the day before.
