Girls who complete all activities will Earn the following badges: 'Art & Design' and 'Craft & Tinker'

$35 per Scout, only the scout needs to register. Badge included in the ticket price.

Please also answer registration questions: troop number and scout age. 

Ready, Set, Explore art! Juniors will create abstract art with paint, learn printmaking for representational art, delve into art history, and craft functional candles. Girls will learn how to bring artistic concepts to life and experiment with color, texture, and form to express their unique visions.

Saturday, December 12th - Juniors: A Victorian Holiday Tea

Girls who complete all activities will Earn the following badges: 'Playing the Past' and 'Social Butterfly'

$35 per Scout, only the scout needs to register. Badge included in the ticket price.

Please also answer registration questions: troop number and scout age. 

Travel back in time and celebrate the Christmas season Victorian style! Learn about Victorian-era Christmas traditions by creating 19th century holiday cards, discover impactful Victorian-era women through a game, and practice the art of conversation over tea and cake.

Saturday, January 30th, 2027 - Cadettes: Forensic Science

Girls who complete all activities will Earn the following badge: 'Special Agent'

$35 per Scout, only the scout needs to register. Badge included in the ticket price.

Please also answer registration questions: troop number and scout age. 

Girl Scouts will learn about the exciting world of forensic science by examining fingerprints, recreating blood spatter patterns and extracting their own DNA. The program starts with a special presentation by real-life forensic investigators from the Kenosha Police Department, talking about their jobs, how they investigate crime scenes, and how to get into the profession.

Online sales end two days prior to class due to supply needs for the instructors, please call the Museums (262-653-4140) to inquire if registrations are still available.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

 

*A full refund will be issued if the Kenosha Public Museum, Dinosaur Discovery Museum, or Civil War Museum cancels a workshop or camp.

*All refunds requested within 72 hours of the program are subject to a $10 processing fee.

*No refunds are offered on or after the day a workshop or camp begins.

*Class cancellations can happen if enrollment minimums are not met two days prior to the event. You will be contacted via phone or email if your event is canceled.

 

If unforeseen circumstances (i.e. weather, power outages, instructor illness) occur within 72 hours of the workshop or camp and the program must be canceled, the museum will do its best to reschedule or provide a voucher to take a program of a similar or same cost.
