If you have some English paper piecing experience and want to try something more challenging, try this little clam shell project. Make a pillow top using pre-cut paper templates and your favorite fabric scraps. This is a lovely hand work project your friends will admire. The project kit is $15 paid to the instructor the day of the workshop (cash or check). Supply list is listed below:
Teacher will supply a kit including papers, template, threads and needles.
To make a small 10” pillow:
Assorted fabric squares for 21 clam shells (you can cut 4 shells from one 6” square)
½ yard fabric for pillow (front, behind quilting and back)
12” square of low loft batting
1/8 yard fabric for binding if used
10” pillow form Scissors Pencil Rotary cutter, ruler and cutting mat
(Sewing machine, only if you are a very fast worker!)
