From "The Raven" to "The Oval Portrait" and so many more, Edgar Allan Poe has become one of America's most celebrated authors. And maybe it's most tormented. Dark tales of terror, poems of grief and sadness they all make up a masterful collection of writings that is Poe. This program will look into Mr. Poe's life, some of his works and his legacy. Each participant will be asked to read a piece or two, either poetry or short story in order to add examples to the conversation.
