Painting in a Limited Color Palette with Dan Simoneau

his four-hour workshop begins with a demonstration and discussion of the artist’s process, exploring how a photographic reference is translated into a dynamic painting using a limited acrylic palette. Dan Simoneau, juror of the Acrylics Now! 2026 exhibition, and award winning acrylic painter from Wisconsin.
Light breakfast and lunch refreshments will be provided although no formal lunch break is scheduled. Students are expected to bring their own brushes and a photograph (of any subject) to work from- all other supplies will be provided.
This workshop is limited in size so all students will receive individual instruction. Recommended for intermediate level artists who are familiar with the tools and techniques of acrylic painting.
