Location: Kenosha Public Museum
Instructor: Mami Takahashi
All supplies included; only experienced beginners may optionally bring their own pottery.
For beginner students, a broken porcelain or ceramic plate will be provided, allowing you to experience the full repair process from start to finish. For returning students, or those with previous experience, you’re welcome to bring your own broken ceramic object or choose from more complex forms provided by the instructor. Information will be sent to those hoping to bring their own pottery with guidelines for a successful object.
This workshop offers a supportive, meditative space for reflection and creativity. All materials are provided, and finger covers are available to use, as handling epoxy can sometimes leave a light residue for a day or two.
Online sales end two days prior to class due to supply needs for the instructors, please call the Museums (262-653-4140) to inquire if registrations are still available.
