Book: The Lincoln Miracle by Edward Achorn

The Lincoln Miracle tells the vivid, behind-the-scenes story of perhaps the most consequential political movement in American history - Abraham Lincoln's history-changing nomination to lead the Republican Party in the 1860 presidential election.

Edward Achorn, a Pulitzer Price finalist for Commentary and winner of the Yankee Quill Award, is the author of the highly-praised Every Drop of Blood: The Momentous Second Inauguration of Abraham Lincoln, as well as two acclaimed books about nineteenth-century baseball and American culture, Fifty-nine in '84 and The Summer of Beer and Whiskey.

Attendees are encouraged to read the book prior to the workshop, and are invited to discuss topics it covers.

Online sales end two days prior to class due to supply needs for the instructors, please call the Museums (262-653-4140) to inquire if registrations are still available.
